Paw Navigator

How it works

How Paw Navigator works

A calm, structured guide for the most stressful moments of pet ownership — from choosing a situation to contacting your veterinarian with confidence.

  1. Choose what is happening

Start by selecting the situation that best matches your pet's emergency — ate something, vomiting, seizure, breathing trouble, and more.

Chocolate, seizures, limping, and other common emergencies

  2. Answer a few simple questions

Each flow asks structured questions about your pet's species, weight, symptoms, and timing.

5–10 quick questions, no login required for emergency use

  3. Receive educational urgency guidance

Based on your answers, the app provides one of three action-oriented categories: emergency care may be appropriate, veterinary evaluation may be recommended, or close monitoring may be reasonable.

Clear next-step categories, not panic-inducing articles

  4. Contact a veterinarian when needed

Generate an incident summary to share with your veterinarian when professional care is appropriate.
